The Ballard family moved north to the Canadian border and settled the family along the south shore of the Minnesota portion of Lake of the Woods.
It was a family committed to hard work, dedicated to each other and the resource, and a dreamer’s vision of what life would be like with a resort on a world-class fishery. With this sense of direction the possibilities are still true…
