Question: I've heard questions about different lodges "all inclusive" plans costing hundreds of dollars more than expected when the guest departs. All inclusive seems to be a term used by some lodges to make people believe there are no additional or hidden charges. How can we be certain we'll be getting the things we need to enjoy our vacation, things such as gasoline, bait, boat use after dinner, all meals, refreshments, ice, etc.? What makes Black Island's package any different?
Answer: The last grading cycle conducted by Tourism Ontario gave Black Island Resort four stars based on quality of accommodations and guest satisfaction. Our packages are simply an extension of the quality reflected in that rating. We provide you with gas, live bait, no extra charges for after supper boat usage, no extra charges for any of your meals. We even provide you with lake maps. These necessities are all included in the American Plan packages we offer.
