Well another summer is creeping up on us! I was sitting here tonight thinking about Black Island and wanted to say "Thanks" for having the commitment year after year to providing us with the opportunity to enjoy coming to a first class resort. You have really done an exceptional job making it into a great resort. Everyone that I have brought up has always had a good time and have told me " It was everything you said it would be". I've never worried about that as you are exceptional hosts,owners and all the other hats you wear. I know sometimes people don't take the time to say "Thanks". We always have tried to bring a truckload of guests as I know the value of word of mouth to a business, and it really is enjoyable knowing they are having an experience not a whole lot of people get. I mean watching Nolan land 3 muskies in a day was unbelievable! No matter what time of the year I have came up we find and catch fish. I was looking at the brag page and you can't help but smile at all those nice fish. Every year it seems to get better! Alot of memories over the years and that's what has made it such a special place. I really enjoy meeting the different guests from all over the country.I know you work hard to provide Great Lodging, Superior Food, and Really Nice Equipment. I think I started coming up in the mid 80s. The best thing that happened to Black Island is the day you bought it and all of the "Regulars" know it, as I've had that conversation with many of them. I have been bringing Shane now for almost 10 years and so glad I did as he knows how special the time spent up there has been. Anyway your special friends and I just wanted to let you know that we do appreciate your dedication to continuing year after year. We certainly hope there's many more years to come!
